The Accelerator program aims to help you become exam ready quickly and smartly.
Week-0: Onboarding & Orientation
We will meet one week prior and understand the procedure of the program, and details about how to use the Kaphal platform.
Though the sessions are pre-recorded the program will run in a cohort. You'll learn a lot from your peers. This week you'll get to know each other.
Also, this week would recommend you go through the self-preparation course before we start the accelerator program.
📜 Week-1: Unlearn
The previous notions about design are reoriented and hence the stage ‘unlearn’. In this stage, we unravel the skills required to crack the design exams.
This is the stage of ‘guided practice’. We look at the PYQs and try solving them together, brainstorm on them and learn from mistakes.
✔️ Surface Counting
✔️Perspective and Line Drawing
✔️FORMS ( 2D to 3D, 3D to 2D
✔️Proportion and Scaling
🧠 Week-2: Absorb
Reading and learning is not the only part of preparation. The actual preparation starts in our heads. How prepared we are mentally to take up the challenge?
This stage focuses on these techniques. We imbibe the process and skills.
✔️Stream Specific Preparation
✔️Shading, Light, and Shadow
👩🏻🏫 Week 3: Flipped Classroom
The best way to test your preparation is to teach. You create assignments and tests for others. We all attempt them and you evaluate us.
You understand the mindset of a student and learn how to deal with it.
✔️Tessellation + Tilling
✔️Color Theory and Psychology
✔️Cross Section + Intersection of 3D figures
📔 Week-4: Simplify & Reflect
We reflect on what we learned and try to find the answer to the fundamental question to excel in a competitive exam; ‘how to be different?’
The actual preparation required for the design entrance exam is over.
✔️Media Study (Print + Digital)
✔️Physics (Mechanics, Mirror, Lens)
✔️Doubts + Revision
✔️Human figures exercises
💡 Week-5: Preparation Starts
From the 5th week onwards, revisit and practice the same topics again till the exam.
If you have dedicated the earlier 4 weeks with commitment, it is time to slow down.
This week, we will revisit topics from Week 1 through activities and live tests.
To know more about the curriculum and our teaching method, talk to your coach in a 1:1 meeting. We would be happy to help!
Understand the demand of the question in the design exams and develop the thought process to solve them.
How to approach a design awareness question for NID/NIFT/CEED/UCEED

I just wanted to thank y'all for all the videos and content you guys have created over the past 1 year. My AIR for UCEED was 26 and your C2D program and videos have helped me a lot! Thank you again:)
I couldn't thank you enough for all the support that you guys have given us throughout these few months. I don't think I could've done this without your guidance and I'm sure, like me, every other kaphal student would be extremely grateful to have you as mentors.
The kaphal team has played a very important role in my preparation for design entrances as well. I owe you a big thanks for the journey we have had. I might not have got what I aspired but the process and journey was memorable.
